Responsibilities [About the Role]
We are seeking a highly skilled Khmer (Cambodian) language expert to train, evaluate, and improve advanced AI language models. You will leverage your linguistic knowledge, cultural insight, and writing skills to enhance AI performance in Khmer comprehension, translation, writing, and reasoning.
[What You’ll Do] – Core Responsibilities
• Evaluate AI-generated Khmer text for accuracy, fluency, grammar, style, and cultural appropriateness.
• Create and review Khmer-language tasks including translations, paraphrases, rewrites, summaries, and conversational prompts.
• Identify factual, linguistic, tonal, and cultural inaccuracies.
• Produce polished reference answers, rubrics, and detailed explanations.
• Annotate Khmer text for structure, meaning, and contextual nuance.
• Generate high-quality Khmer content across various registers (formal, informal, technical).
• Provide detailed feedback to refine AI reasoning and language quality.
Qualifications • Native or near-native proficiency in Khmer.
• Fluent written English (C1+).
• Bachelor’s degree in Khmer Studies, Linguistics, Translation, Education, Journalism, or related fields.
• Proven experience in one or more areas:
– Professional translation or interpretation (KM ↔ EN)
– Writing/editing Khmer text
– Khmer language teaching or curriculum development
– Content creation, localization, or communications
• Strong attention to detail and linguistic accuracy.
• Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain consistency across tasks.
